Head Over Heels

No. There was neither a prince charming nor knight in shining armor. It is always books or gadgets I fall head over heels in love with. I am not sure whether that is fortunate or unfortunate. But at least with gadgets I know the right buttons to press!
My recent love affair has been with the Asus Zenfone 5, which slid into my hands few days ago. My valentine for the year 2015. I love writing about the products which I have had firsthand experience on and I am sure about what I am saying. No amount of internet research or reading about specification can give you the insight which comes with using the product.
There is a lot I can write about the Zenfone 5, but for namesake, I will come out with 5 features that caught my attention immediately.
1.       Its sleek, attractive appearance (Charcoal Black is best)
2.       Price tag
3.       5.00-inch 720x1280 display
4.       Touch response
5.       Dual SIM support
I agree that there are better features about the phone than what I am talking about, but this is what attracted me immediately to the phone. Anyway, if you check out my old HTC wildfire, which is slowly enduring the workload when it is time for its retirement, you will know why these features attract me. Mobile phones have come a long way since the day I held my first Nokia 3310 in my hand. The prices are on wane, whereas the functionality and looks are getting better day by day. Better products for cheaper rates.
Today they are multi-tasking machines, which you have learnt to become dependent on. When challenged for truth or dare, I am always picking truth for the fear that someone may dare me to keep away from my mobile for a day.
Yeah! That is screen, not mirror
Touched by greasy hands when cooking, left in purse among keys and tormented in many other ways only an Indian woman can torment a mobile phone, my old screen refuses to respond to my touch anymore, no matter how much love my fingers exude. It is a pleasure to use the Zenfone which boasts of quick response time of 60 ms.  The Corning Gorilla Glass 3 promises to protect the Asus Zenfone from scratches and accidental screen damages when it may have to go through the torments my previous had been through. Good for me and good for the phone as well.
We are earning more, but rising prices see to it that we never have enough money to spend on expensive gadgets. Often, by the time I collect money for buying a certain model, a newer and more expensive model of the same brand hits the market. One of the reasons why I am deprived from using iPhone. Hence, the affordable price of Zenphone turns out to be an attractive feature for many people like me.
Starting off seriously with my career, I receive many calls related to my work, which may need immediate attention. I have to use a separate SIM to segregate personal calls from my work related calls. The dual SIM of Zenfone is perfect for my purpose.

Since I am struggling with my own weight, I don’t want my phone to join me in the struggle. I love its sleek look which could inspire me to get there as well. There now you know why I choose those features of my phone over much hyped other features like the
  • Atom™ Multi-Core Z2580 Processor 2.0 GHz with Intel Hyper-Threading Technology
  • ZenFone's PowerVR SGX 544 MP2 GPU packs a serious punch - both in games and during general use
  • ZenFone 5’s 64-bit memory
  • 42Mbps DC-HSPA+ and dual carrier
  • Built in quad-band technology to connect you to high-quality voice and high-speed data networks
  • Long battery life
